The site is really particularly located:
just in front of the Royal Church of Laeken;
at the entrance of Brussels, just after the Royal Palace, this is the first building seen by king AlbertII when he goes to work ...
it's at the angle of a large boulevard (that looks like an highway) and 2 small streets that refers more to a village;
it faces the entrance of beautiful public garden.
The first project was to rebuild a small angle building (basement + 3 storeys).
This second version tries to emphasize the symbolic/functional problematic of the site giving a 4 storeys building with a quite strong architectural articulation.
Those images are mainly elaborated to explain the urbanistic principle.
The building won't be white ;-)
